Default WPT Chips...

I am sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it in a search. What are the WPT chips from their website like? Also, if they suck, which they probably do, what chips should I get? I have 500 Composite ones right now, but I am looking for an upgrade since I have a B-Day in May with no real ideas for anyone. Thanks...

I have seen some very great poker chips at the following sites: (hope listing other sites isnt bad here..)
http://www.nevadajacks.net/
and
http://www.pokerchips.com/

I really like the 2 above for the different options i couldnt find on many of the genaric sites that offer chips. They are quite spendy though.

regarding WPT chips. I have a set and they are fine. They are composite chips with the metal slugs. Hoever, the covering on them is just a little better than your typical composite dice/suited chips. But make no mistake...they are composite chips.

Folks on Ebay will sell you a 3 chip sample if you want to see for yourself.

Since you already have a composite set, I'd advise something different when you upgrade....maybe NexGens

I saw a set of these at Sam's Club and I wasn't impressed at all. The chips were composites like mentioned above, but what turned me off the most was that a lot of the chips had large dimples on the sides. The quality of the chips that I saw was very poor.
