Default KK hand

Not sure if I should've 3-bet the flop here with the 5's there ... and was it ok to call down when the J came on the turn?

You're spending 2BB to win about 9BB so you have to be right a little over 20% of the time. Honestly, I think you're toast.

I think you can savely fold the turn. The board is drawless, he raised the flop and bet into you. He either has a J or 5.

It depends on MP2. I was at a Stars 0.25/0.50 table last night with a very, very loose-aggressive player (he lost all his/her chips after about 25 hands, but saw the flop 100% for those hands and came out betting 100% on the flop if the opportunity was there), but also at the table was what I would consider a rock - VP$IP about 4% over those 25 hands and folding after the flop or turn on 50% of those few hands played. So, if MP2 was the rock I don't know if I'm even calling the turn, but if MP2 was the LAG I'm calling all the way, because he had shown that he would bet with absolutely nothing many times.
This board for me is totally read dependant on MP2.

i love this advie comon, you can do better than that!

just call the flop and wait for the turn...and then fold the turn. 5s or a J, you're toast and drawing to 2 outs. sux and tough to let KK go, but remember: it's still only 1 pair.

I agree with @bsoulte, it sucks throwing down the KK like that, but this board is not a good one for you my friend. One of my bigger leaks is holding onto the premium hands too long when I don't flop crap or do flop overcards.
