Cops are looking for a fugitive on my street right now

Cops came to my door 5 mins ago asking if I've seen the suspect. I've got 2.5 acres with 3 barns. The wanted to have a look and I let them. Should I look around the yard myself to see if he's there? If so, what should I bring (dog, bat, gun)? They didn't say he was dangerous or that I should stay inside. I've been standing in my yard watching the chopper circle my house...

And you didn't ask? I wouldn't go wandering around outside with a gun when tyhe police are around looking for a criminal suspect.

Yeah walk around your yard with a gun, make sure the police helicopter can see you.
