Default rakereturns.com officially shutting down

official message:

Hello everyone,

As you may be aware, on Friday, Party decided to take all rakeback affiliates' trackers, and disable them. This means that while we will still be paid for your play, we can no longer track exactly who has contributed what.

We are of course taking this up with Party, as we:
1) Pay by gift certificates, not cash
2) Have permission from Party to do the above
3) Bring in many "regular" players through BonusWhores.com

However, it is possible they will not honor their agreement with us. It is due to this tumultuous situation that RakeReturns.com is officially ending the rakeback program at Party Poker, effective today, April 25th.

Now, we do have the issue of what to do with play to this point of this month. Since we cannot see what each player has contributed we'll have to make some approximations. If errors crop up, we hope to make them in your favor. Here is what we're going to do:

This month is 84% over (25/30.)

We will move the MGR brackets down to 84% of where they normally are. Normally you need a MGR of $1,600 to get into the 22.5% bracket, for this month, you'll only need $1,344. We will be using 84% of your last month's MGR figure, plus an additional 10%. And make a final payment to you.

If you believe last month's MGR +10%, does not appropriately reflect this month's play, you can send in a screenshot of Poker Tracker, for hands played at each limit/blind level, under the general info tab (filtered for April 1 - April 25 of course.) We will use a data mined hand value for each level, +10%.

You will have one week (until 1159 PM EDT Monday, May 2nd) to submit your Poker Tracker screenshot.

Do note that we will give Party until May 7th to reactivate our trackers, upon which point everyone will be paid normally.

We apologize on behalf of Party Poker for the terrible way they have handled this. We understand some of you may be upset, but please rest assured that we have been treated even worse than you have by them.

If you have any questions or comments, please let us know. Best wishes everyone,

Jason Kirsner

Unless you had the affiliate's permission to post this, you should have left his name off of it--being an affiliate is a felony in most states.

I don't think Party determines what is a felony in most states.

Party has no legal enforcement arm in the US as its business is technically illegal but no one enforces it.
