any ideas on what he had slow play trips? AK QK?KJ even

I can't imagine he'd have AK, if he limped preflop. KQ or KJ seem like the most likely options, although KQ is unlikely since you have it, KT or K9 wouldnt even be too unlikely, given that its partypoker NL25. A smaller set or 2 pair 8's and 7's is a possibility, but it would be stupid of him to call on the flop and hope that it still holds up after the turn. It most likely is KJ or KT, I think, as they both make sense with his preflop and post-flop small calls.
