Default 2 very similar 2nd pair hands

I could give reads (stats) but this was in my first orbit
Both are 2nd pair hands which I hate

1.Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG+1 posts a blind of $0.5.
UTG calls, UTG+1 (poster) checks, MP1 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (7 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (7 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, CO checks, Button checks.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (7 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, CO checks, Button checks.

River: (3.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (7 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls.

Final Pot: 7.50 BB

Would have folded flop to a bet, turn completed flush draw and someone may have it since there are 6 opponents. Once checked round I think I may be good so I raise the river to get rid of overcallers that may have a weak T

2.Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 3 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, 2 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (5 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks.

Turn: (2.50 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, SB folds.

River: (6.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, MP2 calls, MP3 folds.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB

Again, 2nd pair with possible flush/straight draws so Im not betting early. Turn is a blank and a K would surely bet since its high. The amount of callers worried me but the K on the river meant that I could safely bet/fold here. If the river was a blank I would check/call since I want to showdown.

Also, If i was in LP with any of these hands (assume suited for PF play with no flush draw) would i be correct to bet the second hand and not the first since there are more overs on the first hand

1: id bet the turn/river and call if reraised and call if non-club hits on river. most of the time i think you will see a load of folds and 1 or 2 callers....giving the rest of the field a free card is a bad idea.

2: i think i play this the same way.

Definately bet the turn. No one's showed strength, they likely have at most a weak ten. River raise is correct to get rid ov overcallers.

This was played fine. No one shows strength, you may very well have the best hand.

HAND #1: whew, that is tough. i wouldn't bet the turn because if the table is that weak, someone may have a T, you may buy some outs if you get overcards to fold, but the pot is so small i don't think i'd care if i lost this one.

i think i'd only call the river. you're only folding people who would call with worse hands, but might stay in for 1 bet thinking their Ace-high or smaller pocket pair is good.

HAND #2: seems fine to me.

why do we want to get rid of overcallers when we have 2nd Top Pair? Tens are staying in, straights, and flushes which all beat us. we want overcallers to stay in on the river since a pair of 5s might stay in or someone may think SB is just trying to steal and will stay in with Ace-high.
