$1/$2 Stars - Facing Overbet
Villian, a little loose (30/13) is UTG with about $250. Hero is CO with about $210.
Villian raises to $6. Folded around to Hero who calls with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villian checks, Hero bets $10 into $14 dollar pot. Villian raises to $120. My move? I didn't think Villian would play AK this way, or a set. I thought maybe KK or QQ, trying to protect. Would that make sense? I really wasn't sure at all what he had. A little while earlier he doubled up with JJ vs 88 much the same way, using a big overbet. |

Re: $1/$2 Stars - Facing Overbet
Post this in the small stakes forum.
Without a stronger read as to how this guy plays I lay it down. You'll find a better spot to stack him. Chances of him having AK or a set of tens is too great for me to make a call of this overbet. Repost in small stakes and you'll get more replies. |

Re: $1/$2 Stars - Facing Overbet
its a clear set protecting against a flush or a donkey raising with KQ [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
from the action looks like a set of 10s pretty easy fold |
