Mizrachi - Chipleader to Cheerleader
interesting implosion i guess. i think i would throw up all over myself if it were me, so i feel bad for him.
Michael Mizrachi Phil Ivey Hasan Habib $ 4,200,000 3,700,000 3,600,000 and then.. "Hasan Habib doubles up through Michael Mizrachi Mizrachi raised to 180k in the small blind with pocket sixes and Habib reraised to 600k in the big blind with pocket queens. Mizrachi moved in and Habib called. The board came Q72Tx" 18 minutes after that chip count... "Rob Hollink eliminates Michael Mizrachi Hollink raised with AQ and Mizrachi reraised all in with AJ. Hollink called. The board came 9T282. Mizrachi will go home with $94,355 for 11th place." sickening. |

Re: Mizrachi - Chipleader to Cheerleader
sick is how much he overplayed those 6's.
i suppose he says to himself, he won't call an all-in unless he's got QQ or better....but guess what. |

Re: Mizrachi - Chipleader to Cheerleader
pokerwire got the hand a bit wrong. the action began with an opening raise from tuan le. mizrachi then re-raised it, and hasan raised both of them to 700k. i guess micrachi thought that hasan was running a nice squeeze on both of them, and obviously didn't think he had the goods.

That guy's nickname pisses me off. Oooooh, look at me, I'm "THE Grinder." I assume that anyone with a "The" in front of their name is a douche until proven otherwise.

Re: Mizrachi - Chipleader to Cheerleader
i suppose there is a variety of ways to look at. especially if he thought habib would flat call with a monster hand like AA or KK pushing becomes a better play. also the pot is laying quite a bit of odds so if he feels he has to call the raise pushing is not so bad. its seems the players who do well in these things are willing to take risks.

The hat is what's silly. [/ QUOTE ] Well, the sort of "bad boy" demeanor he strikes in his photo ops isn't great either. But hey--I should be so good as to even have the opportunity to appear toolish. |
