Default 54346 hands. AJs, little content.

I really find pokertracker posts annoying. Especially when they are based on a small sample.

I just thought I would share this little tidbit today.

I bought pokertracker a while back. After I had about 10K hands, I looked at some of my statistics, and I saw that AKs, and AJs, were both losers for me over that time. I looked, and saw that I was winning a smaller percentage of the time with both suited hands, than I was with the same hands unsuited. Well, and unsuited hand is two flush draws, instead of just one, so maybe that was why I was winning more often with the unsuited hand.

After about 25K, AKs, had caught up and passed, AKo, but AJs was still a laggard.

Anyway, today, after two hands where I took it down uncontested on the turn, AJs finally made it into the black. It only 54,346 hands.

I did say little content in the title, didn't I?

Today I was playing 5/10 shorthanded, and I was drinking and having some fun and talking some smack with some guy who was mad cause i kept sucking out...

So I got 47 of spades on the button...he raised, I typed "i'm so going to suck out"

I flopped a 5, turned a 6, rivered a 3....

47s has now entered the black for me....

Nice job improving your game!!! You've clearly learned to play AJs better over the last 30k.

Wheww.....that is nice to know. AKs is still losing for me after 18k at 6max. Good to hear that it should be turning around after another 7k or so.

Do you mean winner, or less of a loser?

After 54,346 hands, you will get AJs 103 times (is my math correct?). Yes...you are right, little content.
