Default What to do on River?

Just sat down, no reads. Sorry, but I just can't raise KQo PF from the blinds multi-way, I just can't. I think river play is one of the weaker spots in my game. Is this check/call, bet/fold, or bet/call?

Paradise Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

SB checks, Hero checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, CO checks, Button checks.

Turn: (3 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players)

Nothing wrong with not raising KQo here. I don't at a full table.

Your river fold is terrible.

At higher limits (and I guess here too) you'll see the donkeys raising the river when the board pairs precisely because of folds like yours.

You have to call his raise. I would bet $5 that you're ahead.

I probably would have check/called because of the flush card, with 2 people in it with me. They're calling down some kind of draw and the board has a straight and a flush on it.

You should highly consider doing it.

Now that I look at it, it does look pretty bad in print. I guess it was one of those gut things where I "just knew" I was beat. Plus I've been considering the possibility that I make too many crying calls lately.
It was a combination of the 7 and the flush that scared me; but I would like to take you up on your $5 bet. Villian has been playing weak/tight since, and I know he didn't have a read on me.

It's a good hand to raise PF even if you're going to be OOP. All those limpers aren't playing solid hands, make them pay if you hit the flop.
River fold is fine. Considering how the hand was played (villian appears to be calling down with either 7 or a draw), AND the pot is small, I'd drop it here. If villian is sophisicated enough to raise that scare card into someone who's been leading the whole hand, shake his hand and say 'gutsy play'.

SSHE doesn't agree with a raise from the BB even in a loose game with KQo.

Do you do everything by the book? This raise is positive EV with all these limpers. I hope you're only kidding.
