The rakeback works a little differently than you might think. It's not the rake on pots you win.

Basically, you are credited your prorata share of any rake taken on any hand that you are dealt cards. So even if you fold in a 10 handed game, if the hand is raked $3, your credit on that hand is $0.30.

Are you sure about this? Is this how pokertracker logs your rake? I always thought it tracked the actual amount of rake you paid out of pots you won. I ask this because my rakeback program seems to always be in line with the amount of rake pokertracker says I have paid for the month.

Then you are getting porked. Ask Barry how much I gave him vs. his Pokertracker last month.

Yes I am. If you're a tight player your contribution to the rake will be higher than the rake paid on pots won. In my case it's about 20% higher. This is a good thing!

This has happened with several players.
