meh, you almost doubled up with really small blinds and deep stacks. It's fine.

You would be pushing around 450 into a 712 pot. I think that pushing would have been fine. 250 nearly gaurantees a call from anything but small hearts, so it's not terrible.

I agree with the push. It could definitely look like a desperation play and get called. On the other hand, I'd probably check hoping to check-raise and then not get a dime when he checked behind.
