HU isn't one of my strongest sides.

I would have played it like this.

Preflop: Call the 3-bet.

Flop: Check/fold

Too weak?

My thinking: Small pot, I only have 2 overcards on the flop. Fold and move on to the next hand.

You're giving up alot. AQ does really good against a random hand.

Yes but is it a random hand we're up against? It's 3-betted preflop.

Call the 3-bet preflop, lead the flop and fold to a raise?

I still think that the pot is too small to fight over with just two overcards facing a lot of aggression.

AQo has great showdown potential in a blind steal situation.

Im guessing he has decent show down potential as well. I think hes got overcards. Checks the river unimproved.

AK-AJ or KQ-KJ.

I play it the same. I would have called a river bet as well.
