$11. Initial raiser was a known fool, even though it was only 4 hands into the tounrnament. He had raised preflop twice already and both times had shown down overs. I knew my JJ was good against him. Button push was a surprise. He was bad because he was the one calling down the original raiser in the first hand and had nothing.

But still, very early no one should be calling all-ins with JJ right? I normally do not re-raise, and I definitely lay this down 95% of the time to an all-in. Yet I felt like calling. Was I right based on the read that both players are awful???

Its tough to give advice. Of course in normal conditions I would never raise the first time and would easily fold to the allin. However if you know everyone is a complete lunatic you can make a case for calling the allin. Most of the time people just won't be insane enough to make this correct though.

I too would smoothcall preflop, but with your action you have to fold.

If you are getting 2:1 pot odds versus two lunatics like this I think you can make this call. You could be up against an overpair but you are most likely up against AK and an underpair or complete rags.

I still fold though.
