I bet $110, button-1 calls and the button folds.. this villain caught me off bluffing last hand he likes to trap etc. turn is 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I check, coz im very unsure off what my villain has. Villain checks also. river 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I bet $230 and villain raises me allin........

i m guessing that you folded.
should ve bet hard on the turn, checking on the turn is like telling ur opponent that you are willing to fold this hand, so eventho you do have top 2 pairs, you put urself in a position that even if he has nothing, he can still do the samething and u will fold. if i was the other guy, the bet on the river is like saying "i check the turn, but since u checked too, might as well try to bluff you outa the pot", so yes i think should ve bet like 200-300 on the turn, if he calls check, if he reraises fold.

Without more info, it appears that u r beat.

I like checking here with that hand and a flop like that because u never really know where you're at if you bet and get called. IMO, keeps villian guessing about the strength of your hand and keeps the pot small on a scary flop. Also, any scary card that hits 4th or 5th could elicite a bluff that would make a harder decision for you.
