Default 2/5 set...not sure if this line is good?

online 2/5 NL, 6 handed max

hand prior, there was a main pot of around 100ish preflop, and on the flop of 245 spades, 3 ppl got all in for around 400 more, two people with flush draws, A7s and Q3s, with AA in the mix. the flush got there. the Q3s holder reloads and is villain for the next hand.

no additional reads.

hero limps with 33 UTG. villain UTG+1 makes it 20 to go, all fold to hero who calls.

flop 35T rainbow. hero bets 30, villain raises to 60, hero calls.

turn K. hero checks, villain bets 125, hero moves in for 415.

You are massively overbetting the pot. You MIGHT (unlikely) get action from KT or something, but I think this is a bad line. You have bottom set, and will probably only get called by another set. I like a little stop and go, by smooth calling the bet here, and getting it all in on the river.

"You are massively overbetting the pot" ----> LOL

Let's see there's $40 in there pre, $120 more goes in on the flop, $125 gets bet on the turn, he "calls" (before raising all-in) the $125 on the turn. So the pot is $410 when he raises $290 more.

He actually under-bet the pot by $120.

I like your line by the way. I'd have played it the same way. Smooth calling then pushing the river is just silly.

Nice hand.

Just about perfect-you set a trap on the turn and he bit. What more do you want? If he's not calling you're just betting the river and he's folding anyway, so put the money in. I'd bet the pot on the flop so that if he raises he's really stuck to the hand, but that's a very marginal difference. Nice hand.
P.S. He flipped over KK, didn't he? He'd have played AA and AK the same way so don't feel bad.

nah he flipped over KT, and a blank hit the river, mhig.

my question mainly is whether this line is standard for getting the money in oop with a set, even when the turn card isn't so perfect for me.
