Re: KingDonk Strikes
ive been told that its good strategy to autoraise from the co when posting regardless of what you hold. ive adopted that strategy and its worked out very well for me.
i think you should fold on the flop but calling is moderately ok. |

Re: KingDonk Strikes
Yeah, I know. The peel on the flop was just a little loose.
But because I was getting 10-1 I was desperately thinking of some way I could make a move to pick up this pot. Earlier today I had AA in the CO after posting, and I had the button cap almost every street with T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]...no pair, just a gut shot. Is there anyway I could steal this pot, or should I just check/fold the flop? |

Re: KingDonk Strikes
Donking is limping. This is not a case of donking.

[ QUOTE ]
Donking is limping. This is not a case of donking. [/ QUOTE ] Donk has come to mean alot of things. It's short for Donkey. CDC used it for cold calling (ie. "cold donked on the button"). It's like hicadoola. |

Re: KingDonk Strikes
It's not about Donk anyway! Can I steal this pot? It's big and I want it.

Re: KingDonk Strikes
Unlikely. Who knows if button holds AA or KK...
Your best chance is a turn raise, or not giving up control of the pot on the flop and capping and betting out if its checked to you. To be honest, I would fold. Doesn't particularly look like button is getting off this one. |
