live NL $100 4 players
blinds are 1/3. i never play no limit and i even more never play shorthanded so if anyone could give me a basic rundown of how this game is played it would help.
plus, here's a specific hand from the game that i had a question about. A9o in SB. stacks are all about $120 UTG folds, button calls, SB raises 10 (13 total), BB and button call. this is the only part of the hand that i care about comments on, you can comment on the rest but i won't care. -------------------------------------------- suits irrelevant flop: 9 4 3 SB checks, BB bets 15, button folds, SB calls turn: 3 SB check, BB bets 15, SB calls river 5 SB checks, BB bets 15, SB raises to 30, BB calls |

Re: live NL $100 4 players
4 handed preflop this looks fine to me. When you get called by your raise from the SB, however, you have to wonder whether you are behind a PP or larger ace. Depends on dynamics of this particular game alot.
After that, I like your line if you put him on something like J9 and figure you can milk him. If the players is more careful and TAG I would raise him on the flop or turn to prod whether TT/JJ was lurking. |
