Default Getting Better

What about all the times you have two overcards and need to know how big of a pot it needs to be so you can take a card off?

Could someone offer some thoughts on the answer to this question please.

Oh hell I can't help it.

- "It Depends."

Followed swiftly by.

"Do you see why?"

I am trying to be snide, but the two statements are absolutly critical. Those decisions aren't made in a vacume and you have to take the board, the players and your two cards into account before you can know. Ed Millers book does a great job of explaining this. <shameless plug>

[btw ed I want a beer, Sam Adams]

Sam Adams?!?! Their gay commercials alone should be reason enough for any self-respecting male to choose a different beer. Then again, it's better than the Smirnoff Ice Ed Miller ordered the last time I played cards with him.

You can't just out someone as a Smirnoff Ice drinker like that, Dude. Whether to stay closeted or risk being branded a "wuss drinker" on these boards is an intensely personal decision that only the individual in question should make.

I must admit I like the Samual Jackson sppof commercial, but I don't drink the beer for the commercials. The winter ale and double bock a darn good. My true choice would be Shinner Bock, but I can't get it in Seattle or Vegas.

Beer for people who like white wine spritzers.

Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA. Drink real beer.

Typical beer-snob-wannabe response.

"Dude, how can you drink that [insert non-exotic beer name] piss? You are wimpy/gay/uncool for drinking something so lame. You'd be much better off drinking [insert overhopped micro-brewed abomination beer name]."

Stop thinking your boutique beer makes you cool.
