Default Nevada residents banned from Intertops?

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I tried to sign up at Intertops yesterday but received the error message - no accounts will be accepted from Nevada.

So, I signed up using a different address, then after the account was created, I used the update address function to change the address back to my Nevada one. I think address information must be accurate to be able to transfer funds.

But then in reading the Terms & Conditions on the website I saw this:

[ QUOTE ]
No account applications or wagering activity will be accepted from residents of NEW JERSEY or THE NETHERLANDS (each a "Prohibited Jurisdiction"). ALL WINNINGS EARNED BY A RESIDENT OF A PROHIBITED JURISDICTION OR BY ANY INDIVIDUAL UNDER THE AGE OF 18 WILL BE SUBJECT TO FORFEITURE BY INTERTOPS.COM. Intertops.com will donate all such forfeited winnings to charity.

[/ QUOTE ]

Which of course worries me.

Are there any 2+2 players from Nevada using Intertops? Does anyone have any experience with this?

New Jersey residents have been banned from playing Intertops for a long time, the Nevada thing may be new.

Nevada and NJ residents are banned from playing online (for obvious reasons). Intertops is one of the few sites that actually acknowledges those local regulations and enforces it from their side.

Because online gambling draws money away from land-based casinos, one of the primary revenue streams for those states.

Oh well thats sucks! I guess I can see their point but at the same time ticks me off. I live 2 1/2 hours away from AC. I would never spend as much time in a B&M room as I do online even if it was next store.

If there was some sort of radius then maybe I would understand. The whole state thats stupid.
