Default Another pocket pair hand heads up

Someone posted a similar hand yesterday, just wondering if anyone agrees with my line in this situation, and if it is too aggressive.
MP1 is 32%/11%/2.0 after 30 hands

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises</font>, MP2 calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 caps</font>, MP2 calls, Hero calls.

I decide to go for the raise-the-flop line, but i'm wondering if this raise was just pointless and calling down better.
Flop: (13.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, MP2 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 3-bets</font>, MP2 folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (10.25 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (12.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 14.25 BB

I'm fine with the flop raise. I'd generally just fold the turn UI after the 3-bet, you're behind a vast majority of the time.

Against a loose/passive probably. More of a read would be helpful I think, but based solely on stats the villian seems fairly laggy. We are getting 11:1 to call the turn, and 12:2 to call both the turn and the river. I think we are ahead at least 15% of the time.

The only thing he could be playing that you beat is AK. Everything else and you're drawing to 2 outs.

Fold to the turn bet.

i guess i dont understand the flop raise, then call down.... ... is he betting out the turn with AK, after your flop raise... i would either fold turn... or just call down from flop without much of a read..

Preflop was folded to the villian before he raised first in. This is villian's fourth preflop raise in 30 hands. Is the range of what he will raise with really that narrow?

I cap the flop.
If he bets into you again on the turn, it's an easy fold.
Otherwise, check behind on the turn and c/c the river. It saves you 1/2 BB, and he might check the river too.

I agree with both your posts. I don't understand how ppl speak highly about the SSHE book and when it comes to practice they can be so passive. Look at this post as well.

Are you serious? Passive?? We're 3 betting pre-flop and raising the flop. TT is almost certainly beat by anyone but the most LAGgy player. This guy is clearly not afraid of us and since he capped PF I think we're looking at a bigger PP 75% of the time or better. I'm folding to the turn bet every time.

You need to be ahead 15% of the time (including calling a river bet) to break even. Look at the post by elbuddha
