Michael Schiavo is an evil bastard and I hope he burns in hell.

He is trying to MURDER Terry. She didn't leave a will. In my opinion, that means that no one should kill her. She is an adult and she must be kept alive. I'm not taking her husband's word for it when he's with another woman and wants Terry's money.

[censored] him.

Why all the emphasis on her being an adult? It's OK to kill her if she were not an adult?

Of course I know if she was an unborn baby you would be saying "Why haven't we killed her yet?"

Written by some guy from Michigan?? Okay, I am skeptical to start, but then he reinforces my doubts with a couple dubious claims....

1. The dental hygiene stuff.... Anyone who has been close to someone in a nursing home with these conditions knows that it is hard to stay on top of and Terri's been there for a lot of years.

2. The bedsore stuff... Ditto my comment on #1 above, but moreover.... This is the sort of thing that did in Christopher Reeve, and no one is claiming neglect there.

Now Michael MAY just be the biggest tool around, but to open up an argument for that position with the bone-headed points illustrated above won't leave people eager what may be stronger points further down in the article.

I didn't mean adult. I meant human being. If someone is a human being and didn't leave a will then we must not kill them because that would be murder.

Unborn fetuses are different.

I've told you before that I don't tow the Democratic Party line. I am, as Joe Lieberman called himself, an independent minded Democrat. I voted for a Republican for state Assembly in NY last November, because I am disgusted with the do-nothing legislature. So I voted against the Democratic incumbent and for the Republican challenger as a matter of principle. And I voted for the Democratic challenger against the Republican state senator, and she ended up losing. Reform is popular this year I guess.

I'm pro-guns, pro-death penalty, anti-drug war, and anti-war. A lot of Democrats are for war out of convenience.

I was against Clinton when he went into Kosovo. I thought it was bullsh.

There's a lot you don't know about me. But stick around. Maybe you'll find out more that you didn't expect.

You say you're anti-war, but under what circumstances?

Which if these wars was it right for the US to be involved in:

WWI
WWII
Korea
1991 Gulf War

What conditions must be met to make a war acceptable to you?

Serious questions, I hope you answer seriously.

I wish that we hadn't had to get involved in WWII. But I understand the arguments for it(although I don't understand the arguments for using the atomic bomb).

But I don't think that we would have had a WWII if we hadn't gotten involved in WWI. I don't think we should have gotten involved in WWI. If we hadn't won WWI and humiliated the Germans so much then Hitler wouldn't have risen to power and unleashed all of that evil.

I don't think we should have gotten involved in Korea or Vietnam

GW I is a definite no.
GW II is a definite no. No on the two wars and the two presidents.

Basically I don't think the U.S. should be involved in any wars. That's not to say that I think the U.S. should be a non-interventionist country. Far from it. I think the UN should be supported in some of the thing it does(although not the military operations). I'm talking about the disaster programs(like for the tsunami victims), etc. Those are good programs.
