Default Were these 2 plays terrible?

Play #1, what would you do?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) converter

Button (t780)
Hero (t1390)
BB (t2260)
UTG (t3570)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to t400</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls t300, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to t2260 (All-In)</font>, UTG folds, Hero ?



Play#2

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (5 handed) converter

Button (t748)
SB (t3150)
Hero (t1040)
UTG (t2210)
MP (t852)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

Hand 1 I go all-in after the min-raise.

Hand 2 I go all in if I am in a 10+1 which is what I normally play. Perhaps if you play 50's or 100's more people limp with monsters but in 10+1's I am not scared of the limp.

First one is close on the call, which I lean towards, but a reraise allin was definitly in order PF. 2nd is a pretty easy fold.

#2. All-in, Unless you think MP is going to go all in to. The reason I say all in is because you are going to be left at 700 with little room to maneuver...time is running out.

I definitely call the first. BB could do this with any pocket pair which you like (60 hands), three you dont (12 hands), or AK (9 hands). So even if you think he wouldnt push with 22-77 etc its still obviously worth the 2-1 on the pot.

I fold the second, MP limp is too scary.
