Default Going to vegas (x-post)

My friends and I are going to go to vegas in early June. I've been before but they haven't. I want to go for a little over a week (2nd-11th) I say we will not get bored and will have tons of fun. They are worried that all there is to do is gamble.

Also the cheapest I've found for a hotel averages $60 a night at the Sahara, thoughts on that?

I know vegas has been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything that dealt with the recommended length of stay in vegas.

Thanks

I x-posted this to OOT, I don't think it was ridiculous enough to be there

Sahara is a dump, but cheap. Stayed there while lowrolling on a few occasions.

My optimial time is about 5 days, four nights. I am about ready to go after that amount of time. Longest trip was eight days and my bankroll and liver said they would go on strike if I went that long again.

Stay in a couple of hotels to maximize your funds. Stay downtown for at least few nights if you like to lowroll and to have a different experience. I really dig downtown.
