State Taxes for Online Poker (CA)

Hey I'm a noob when it comes to taxes, this is my first year doing it, and my only income is from online poker.

I think i get the gist of what to do for federal taxes, but I'm still clueless about state and local taxes. Is it just like finding the right form, then listing your wins/losses, or is there even more to it? Specifically I'm a student in CA, so if anyone could lead me in the general direction it could save me and maybe other people some time.

I'd seriously consider getting a CPA; it will help you out tremendously in making sure both your state and federal taxes are 100% legit.

I second this, it is worth the money. and better then getting strung up on tax evasion charges or audited
