I'd reraise more on the flop, maybe to 20. Calling the all in is fine, he could easily be on the heart draw, but a set of 8's is also a possibility.

The better the player the better a fold would be. A good player's range of hands is probably Khxh, a set and 6h7h(or variants of this). Of those, you're only really beating Khxh.

If you can fit Axh, KQ and KJ and into the villain's range of hands, your call is okay. Given the stakes you're playing at, you may be able to put K10 into the range as well. It really depends on who the player is and what range of hands he could have.

ya it was my first hand at the table. Had just posted in lp. So if you have no read your folding or calling? I thought the call was kind of slim....not terrible though given the stakes.......

Well, at a higher level, this would be an easy fold (minraising a small bet and two callers, then coming over the top of a reraise means set), but I have seen some really stupid play with slowplayed AA or AK or something even dumber, like KJ.

I really wouldn't feel great about calling it though. He probably has at least two pair, and most likely 55 or 88.

Well, you're getting about 1.6 on your dollar here, which I don't think is enough given the range of hands you're up against. I'd chuck it.
