Default Is this email an Affiliate Scam

It's not sent from superior poker, but from pokermail.net? The link takes you through an affiliate link. And they used my gmail address, not my name. I've never had anything to do with Superior Poker as far as I know; so where did they pick up my email address?

sumfknnumber is the affiliate ID of sumfknaffiliate. My guess is this is an attempt to bring you in under him. Looks like an affiliate scam to me.

I got the same one, and it freaked me out because I got it on my "clean" email address...that is no one should have that address unless they know me personally or I have an account with them with a lot of money in it. This means they likely got my email from a major site (I dont even use that email for smaller sites).

I think Glenn and dogsballs should get together and compare notes since both of the email addys should be "poker clean".

I am a gmail user and obviously post here and did not get this email. I use Party, Empire, Eurobet, Hollywood and Stars with my gmail addy so you guys can start there.

Pretty scary if it comes back to a particular poker site.

Did you use this email at Ultimate Bet? I got the same spam. It is a catch all and not an actual email address. I can receive but not send email from it. I used it for my wife to sign up at Ultimate Bet and it is her Neteller email. Maybe this will help us to find the source. This is the same group who snail mails me junk every few weeks.

Most of the poker rooms I play are registered under a different email address for me - at least now. I use that email address for Doyles Room, the Gaming Club and Paradise. No others as far as I know.
