Can You Say Dick On TV?

Are you allowed to say "dick" on TV. I'm not talking about someone's name. The reference was clearing talking about a dudes penis.

I'm watching Legally Blonde on TBS (don't ask!!!) and they just said dick. I thought that was a no-no word?

It's different from station to station, and especially time of day. At night on MTV "nigga" is freely thrown around.

The worst thing they edit is "God." So gay.

It's cable, they can say whatever they want. The only thing stopping them is advertisers. Only broadcast stations are under the control of the FCC.

When did they edit God? I've heard it with godd@mn (not sure if that would get by the censor of not), but never just God.

Dazed & Confused was on the other day, either FX or Comedy Central. They censored it. "That guy's a dick, right?"
