Prop Bet: How many poker rooms in the world?

So my friends and I have a bet about the number of poker rooms in the world. Also, a side bet on how many there will be this time next year.

The bids were silent, so noone knew what anyone else picked before their guess.

I said 2500 and 3000 next year.

The closest number wins even if you go over, one guy said 450, 500.

One guy said 1000, 1000.

Last guy said 1296, 1347.

i assume u are only counting the registered, "official rooms"
