This was 3-handed at the end, so I'm not sure if Clarkmeister's theorem applies. Anyway, who bets this river?
SB is loose and seems passive. BB is very loose and has a hard on for me b/c I've taken some big pots off him. So his PF 3-bet could easily be an angry tiltish flailing. And feel free to berate me for not raising the flop, just please explain why waiting for a safe turn doesn't apply here. the theorum only applies when you're out of position.

Check it through. BB almost definitely has a mid heart he's not folding.

You raise the flop because you want the SB to fold ANY heart. It's going to be tough for him to call two bets with a low/middle range one, which is good for you.
I probably wouldn't bet this river 3-handed. It's tough for worse hands to call, and a better hand isn't folding. Although you might get a crying call from the BB if he has a Queen, with the SB still in I think I'm checking. *Edited for suit retardation. |

I'm sure this has been said already but Clark's thing only makes sense if you are first to act.
I would usually check this through and then curse myself wondering if he would have folded the 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] had I bet |

Clarkmeister's theorem also only applies when the 4th flush card comes on the river (in addition to you being out of position and head's up).
Check behind. |
