Default Heads up limit question.

There is a popular player at pokerroom whose heads up strategy involves raising preflop with any hand, even if it is 42o 72o, etc. I have tried this strategy and failed, this player is always very sucessful, how does he make this technique profitable?

Note, this is in a 2 person max table, not a SB vs BB situation.

Either by only playing overly tight players or faking his success.

Well, the obvious answer is "postflop play". =]

Anything more specific? Common uncomfortable situations? Pokerstars has penny HU, you can play a few hundred hands there and post some hands (although HU hands are really worthless out of context I think.) I'm always looking for a HU partner to practice with, but unfortunately I'm headed to bed right now.
