Default AKo What\'s the play?

MP2 is LPP and BB is TPP.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, MP2 calls, 4 folds, BB 3-bets, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, MP2 calls.

Sould I be capping with AKo?

Flop: (13.50 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB bets, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls, MP2 calls.

I think I missed a crucial raise to determine the strength of his pair. I had him on a pair here.

Turn: (8.25 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, Hero calls, MP2 calls.

By not raising the flop I have no information and probably looking at 6 outs.

River: (11.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero...

Now what?

Final Pot: 13.25 BB

Normally I would cap this PF, but is he's really tight I just call like you did. If you want to continue on this flop you gotta raise. Don't always have continue if you missed the flop...

once you get to the river i fold. You can beat only a bluff, and I dont think MP2 has come along with nothing.

I'd play it the same. If it were AKs I think it should be capped, but especially vs. that tight player it looks good.

Yeah I'd say you missed the flop raise. If he 3-bets and leads on turn, I'd say fold. Otherwise you may get a free card.

Yep. At least it's a board of low cards so that since it was raised, most hands are UI.

Definitely fold. The flop raise would've saved you some money.

I think this is a typical mistake in a situation like that: Not to raise the flop. If you see resistance you just forget it. So raising can buy you info, show strength and possibly make someone fold. But calling passively cannot be the correct play.

I think this is a good candidate for tossing it in on the flop.

You've got a backdoor straight, and 2 overcards, which aren't that powerful because of the pfr.

KO

PF: I'm not capping AKo preflop.

Flop: Rag board raise for info and possible free card, fold to a reraise.

Turn: Fold UI.

I believe I would bet the river, fold to a raise.

I don't think I would do this.

Why not? Seeing the way he played pre-flop I would assume he has AK, AQ, AJ, and is fishing for an overcard to pair.

Upon thinking about it I might just check this as well.
