Checkraise and fold to a 3-bet.

Bet and call a raise? What else you gonna do? The guy probably has KQ.

I was thinking check b/c KQ is only hand I beat and he will bet it for me. I was 90% sure he has a K - so why not let him bet it for you? Only other possible hand but doubtfull since he 3bet flop is AQ or AJ nut flushes!
Any way I checked/called and he bet his KJ!
My friend thinks I should bet this river I am not convinced!

You don't think KQ was his most likely holding here?

I think the checkraise/fold to a 3-bet line is best, because it extracts 2 from KQ (his most likely holding IMO)
and loses the same 2 (as betting out and calling a raise) when you are beat. I think with your hand, the ideal number of bets on the river is a lot closer to 2 than 1 and by just check-calling, you are leaving money on the table.

Aren't you worried about him 3 betting you with AK? Folding here when you are owed half the pot would be a one way ticket to frown town.

Is QJs (with or wo flushdraw) a possible hand for him to hold since he capped on the flop and called on the turn. In that case a check call might be the best option as he might bet the river but he won't call a checkraise?
