Default I got punked....or did I?

15-30 online: went from 10-handed to 3-handed quickly. 1st orbit at 3 handed. UTG/Button/Non-blind guy is very loose passive and the reason I am sticking around. I have no read on SB has he didn't spend much time at the table 10-handed before it got down to 3-handed. But in 2 orbits I don't think he played a hand.

UTG limps, SB raises. I call in BB with Ks3s.

Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB checks. ?? hmmm, QJ, set, Ace spades w/ pair, giving up?
I bet, they call.

Turn Qh. I bet, UTG calls. SB check-raises and I feel like I just went for the cheese and my tail is caught. But I've got a flush so I 3 bet anyway because I read 2+2 and all.

UTG calls and SB 4 bets. Drop the cheese and run away with my tail between my...? Well anyway I call.

River: Kh
SB checks. ?? wtf - ok now I know he has precisely
1 - a full house/nut flush and knows that I or UTG probably has a bet worthy hand now or
2 - As/Qx and thinks one of us probably has him beat.

I strongly suspect #1, so I check. UTG bets...MOTHER F$#@#%!!

Of course SB check raises. I call, UTG calls.

I took the whole time allotted before calling but I didn't really want to.. but the pot was sorta big and you know what to do on the river in big pots yada, yada. So I won or lost but I thought there were some interesting decisions in this hand, no?

i think the fact that this pot is three handed makes me

a) want to be extra aggressive
b) not ever fold the second nut flush

Hi stox,

That's pretty much what I was thinking regarding the river and it tipped the scales to a call.

I thought every street was at least debatable though.
