Black Market Cell Phone Parts
Here's the story. I have a cracked screen on my cell phone. It's a cheap piece of plastic that protects the LCD screen. Right now, it's just a crack, but I'm affraid that if it breaks anymore it will damage the LCD screen.
Here's the problem. Samsung doesn't sell parts. They make you send the phone to them for like a month, and they have a minimum service charge of something like $65. The Verizon service guy showed me that it's a simple replacement he would do for free, but he can't order the part. Any ideas/suggestions as to where I can locate bootleg Samsung parts? The face plate replacements won't work because they don't have the plastic screen. Google has turned up nothing. Anyone dealt with this? |

Get insurance on your phone, "lose it" in a month.

Re: Black Market Cell Phone Parts
Is it a GSM phone? If so, just buy another one off of Ebay and switch the chip (make sure it is unlocked).
