Re: AJo
Yes, I think you went into your shell a little early here.
I would cap the flop and lead on the turn and check call the river whether he raises the turn or not. |

Re: AJo
Looks OK to me. You have 14 outs against KK or QQ (51% equity on flop), in which case it doesn't matter much whether you call or cap since you can't take a free card on turn. But weighting in AA & JJ would bring you slightly below 50% I'd guess.
Of course, if there is much chance he could 3-bet flop with AK (presumably with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]?), you'd like to cap. |

Re: AJo
Players get so reactive in steal/resteal situations that I'd say you're even money or better to have the best hand even after his flop 3bet, not even counting your flush equity. So I vote for cap/betout turn.

Re: AJo
I don't see the point of capping here, you aren't going to get free cards and you could very well be drawing to 7 outs against a hand like KQc.

Re: AJo
Capping the flop is most likely a .5 bb difference, because getting raised on the turn after a flop cap sucks something hardcore. So capping flop, checking turn, or call/call is fine. i think...

Re: AJo
I think I would prefer to see a SD on this hand for the same price and take a note on villain, before doing something like that.

I think you are right about the cap.

Re: AJo
Sometimes you should raise a turn blank here as you'll see a smaller pair or even the K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] play the flop this fast. However, the the turn is not a blank and you played it fine.
