Single rebuy tournament

In a tournament with only one rebuy or addon of equal chips to the buy in would be better to hold off on the rebuy in case you bust out? Waiting to take the addon if you make it through the rebuy period and the addon will help you stack enough to be worth it. Or should you rebuy at the beginning in order to have a bigger stack to help accumulate more chips with your big hands but run a greater risk of busting out early?

part two: would you decision change depending on what you opponents choose to do?

I would take it right away unless only the sharks are rebuying immediatelly and the fish are keeping their original stack.
