Default 86s

button is loose passive.

utg and button limp, i complete with 8s6s, BB checks.

flop is 634 with 2 hearts. i bet, bb folds, utg and button do thier jobs and call.

turn is a ten, putting 2 clubs on the board.

i bet, utg folds, and button calls.

river is the king of clubs.

i check, call, and throw up.

costs the same, can't be bluffed out, and induces a bluff from a missed draw.

yeah this hand is standard i think. another good reason to check is that since button is passive he/she will probably check behind with a T or a better 8 alot of the time.

i did read passive in the description of the opponent, right?

i like joes reasoning a little better i think, that button may check thru a better hand. probably spliting hairs, but against passive opponents i usually bet the heck out of any hand that could be ahead.

I don't think this splitting hairs at all. It's important to know why we do what we do. Good distinction.

Check/call is standard, but I check/fold against a fair number of opponents.
