Default Rake impact from 2/4 => 3/6 => 5/10

Anyone know what the rake "discount" is in terms of BB/100 going from 2/4 to 3/6? How about 3/6 to 5/10? I'm sure someone has done the math on this here in the past.

try one of the numerous rakeback sites out there....some of them have calculators for you to estimate.

It is my understanding that 20% "rakeback" earns you approximately 0.5 BB/100 at 2/4 and 3/6. At 5/10 6 max I still think it's about 0.5 BB/100.

Not sure about 5/10 full games.

Maybe I'm posing this question wrong. I'm not talking about rakeback deals. I'll give some numbers to make my inquiry clearer:

I've played about 25,000 hands for 2/4 in my PT database. I have a total rake of ~$1,370. This rake works out to be about 1.37 BB/100. 2/4, 3/6, and 5/10 have the same rake taken out at Party. This rake is capped at $3 per pot when the pot hits $60. For 2/4, this is a 15BB pot which happens much less frequently than a 6BB pot at 5/10.

So my question is, because of this how much will my rake be at 3/6, 5/10 in terms of BB/100? It HAS to be lower there than 2/4. That's what I meant by rake discount as I move up. Maybe those out there with significant amounts of hands in their PT databases for 3/6 and 5/10 could just let me know what their rake is in BB/100 (ignoring any rake back deals). That will probably be the easiest way to find out. Thanks.

*Bump*

Could anyone that has a decent number (+20,000) of hands at 2/4 AND 3/6, and/or 3/6 AND 5/10 full let me know how much your rake in BB/100 hands went down when moving up in levels? It's not really proprietary info, but if you'd rather not post it, you could PM me. Thanks.

Chris

I paid 2.15 BB/100 in rake at 2/4 and 1.99 BB/100 at 3/6

Makes me wish the a no rake site could work. It would rock to pay a flat fee instead. I really doubt that a no rake site would be successful -- the only players that realized how valuable that would be would be the better players. (At least that is what I imagine.)

Here's something I put together. It's based on the rake calc that can be found on the site that's link to off of my site (I feel like naming it here would be taboo or something).

This assumes 4 tabling. 60 HPR for full, 100 HPR for 6 max. Numbers are approx.

# of hours per week @ 3/6 (full)
5 200
10 400
15 600
20 800

# of hours per week @ 5/10 (6 max)
5 557
10 1113
15 1671
20 2228

# of hours per week @ 2/4 (full)
5 153
10 308
15 462
20 617
