Are micro limit players insane?
I'm not a limit player, I've only played limit by accident when joining the wrong SnG or whatever. Today I decide to play PS .02/.04 limit for fun. After a few hands I'm dealt Ah Kh.
Preflop 6 guys have the betting capped, then the flop comes 3 hearts. You'd think some of them would slow down but to my disbelief 5 of them capped the betting, same happened on the turn & river. I take down a huge pot Opened up 4 tables and started playing, actually made $7/hr for my first real attempt at limit. Was this just a good run of luck or are the players really bad? No one would slow down when its 3 suited, or paired board. Anyway, what is the recommended bank for playing .25/.50 ? |

Re: Are micro limit players insane?
If you have never played limit before go with the 400BB minimum and stick to the level unless you go below 250BB. a 150BB downswing is possible in limit, but not likely, especially at the very loose micro tables.

Are micro limit players insane? [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] PS .02/.04 limit [/ QUOTE ] At those nano limits, pretty much, yeah. I assume the buy-in was a whopping $1 or so? If you sat at a no-limit table with $1 capped buy-in, you'd likely see exactly the same behavior |

Re: Are micro limit players insane?
$150 is fine for Stars .25/.50. It's a little tighter than Stars .05/.10 but just as passive. You should kill it.
