Default Chances of Successfully Identifying a Fellow 2+2er?

Going to local B&M tomorrow for some $2/$4. While I don't expect to see any in Vancouver (GCC especially), what are the chances?

Also, anyone have a story of somehow identifying another 2+2 poster at the tables?

Conversation between me and (who I now know to be) Mike Gallo:

Setting: Trop 6/12
Background: The old guy that just sat on my right asks my name, I tell him (Mike is on my left)

MG: Do you live in New York City?
Me: Uh, yea. Why?
MG: [silence]

...5 minutes pass...

MG: So you know sfer and Josh (sthief09)?
Me: Uh, yea. Who are you?
MG: No one. [Takes out a notebook and scribbles something]

...5 minutes pass...

Me: Who are you dude?
MG: No one.
Me: If I guess will you tell me?
MG: Sure.
Me: [thinking...I know of one 2+2er that lives in South Jersey] Bunky?
MG: If you ever say that again I'll cut your tounge out!
Me: [thinking...maybe this is Bunky]

...5 minutes pass...

Me: Seriously dude, who are you?
MG: I'll show you my tournament ticket and you should be able to guess.

He shows, its obvious, I guess.

whenever i go to casinos and play in their 20/40, there is usually at least 1 solid kid who id suspect may easily be a 2+2er. every time i ask people immediately say no. i guess they know what 2+2er means however, since they dont seem intrigued as to ask what that is. i stick out like a sore thumb at TStone tho... since i made it easy for everyone considering my name is TStoneMBD. MBD being the initials they put up on the board for me when im waiting for a seat.

So I've heard, but they have a monopoly on $2/$4. Yes I've been present with the marked cards, the sudden change in payout, and that there's more; but I don't quite have the bankroll for $10/$20 at HI.

Fishtacular down in Richmond.
I've not played there, but I've watched. Lineups are uber long. Better to just stay home and play online.
I'm a B&M n00b.

About a month ago I am sitting at a 2-4 table in the Imperial Palace. It's late monday night, OK early tuesday morning, and the guy next to me hollers over to one of the guys playing at the no limit table (which is fairly loud and having a lot of fun) and asks him if he likes to fish. I can't remember exactly how it went from there but the guy next to me asks of he is a trout fisherman and he says no mainly deep sea fishing or something like that and the guy next to me realizes it's not a 2+2er. So I think I asked him if he fishes and told him that I do like to fish for brown trout. Sure enough fellow 2+2er sitting right next to me. We have a good conversation and a fun night! Funniest thing was he told me that I was the first one he had run into and he had been in Vegas for awhile. I thought it was funy because I had just arrived that night, late, and was just getting started. I didn't run into another 2+2er the rest of the trip.

CLASSIC! I can so see him saying that as well. Funny as it is, comparing my play to Gallo's is like comparing apples to oranges.
