Re: Caller with flush draw -- typical?
What were his hole cards? If he had something like QT [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] he still had a fair amount of equity with the gutshot straight/flush/over card draws.
BTW, yes it's typical of weak players to call all-ins with weak draws, but you played it fine, so I really don't see what the question is. |

Re: Caller with flush draw -- typical?
He had Q 2 of diamonds. Which in my mind is moronic.
Also, he bet $25 on the end that I called. Was that right? Also, was my $17 raise on the turn enough? |

Re: Caller with flush draw -- typical?
oh, ok. the converter screwed up. It doesn't include any river action.
Now that I look at it, you should have raised more on the turn, at least to $25 or $30. Given that the pot would be bloated and you would have to call most bets if a diamond hit, you're giving him the right implied odds if he can get you to call a smallish bet on the river. |
