1-4-4-8 Structure ?
I have never played in a game with this structure, but I may be soon. Exactly how does this work? Is everyone paying $1 PF, and then $4 on the flop, and $8 on the last two streets? Is that the structure, or is it where you can bet anywhere from $1 to $4 PF, then $4 on flop, etc. Thanks for the help.

It means that you may bet from 1-4 on any round, until the river, where you can bet from 1-8. If it were 1-4-8-8 then the max raise would jump to 8 on the turn. Raises still must be at least as large as the original bet. So if someone makes a $6 bet on the river you can raise $6 or $8, but not $4. |

Re: 1-4-4-8 Structure ?
Actually, it's most commonly referred to as a "spread" limit game.
I've played a lot of 1-4-8-8. The blinds are $1/2, but after that it usually plays just like $4/8. People usually bet the max amount ($4 on the flop, and $8 on turn and river). |
