Default NBC\'s Las Vegas

The show is pretty over the top, but I thought there was a particularly dumb scene where two guys were "colluding" at the Craps table to win free food room beverage comps. One would bet $500 on the Pass Line, the other would bet $500 Don't Pass. Any non-TV casino would not mind, since both Pass/Don't Pass bets have a house advantage of %1.43, so their technique actually doubles what the house would typically make. Breaking it down further, they will only lose money when a 12 hits in the come out roll. This happens 1/36 times, so they are effectively giving the casino approximately $500/36 or $13.89 per come out roll with no risk to the casino.

I guess that's Hollywood.

It is a secret plot by the casinos. Now people are going to flock to Vegas and the craps tables with the "special" method of getting free drinks that they saw on TV.

Its so funny how far people will go to get "free" drinks. Nobody ever thinks to just go to the sportsbook and get a ticket out of the trash or off the floor and just sit and watch the game while recieving free drinks. morons!
