i know i got luck with this hand and won, but my question was did i assume the odds and correctly play this hand. i knew at least one person had aq after the turn.

Preflop: calling or 3betting is probably ok...
Flop: fine
Turn: I might just cap it after CO 3bets, but a new raiser popping out might make a call correct, if you are behind you have a lot of outs to improve so capping can't be that bad agaisnt 3 other players...
River: fine...

if you flop a set you are not "lucky" if you fill up, your hand is legit and you should play it strongly...
