Default First post - JJ overpair, scary flop

I've been reading the forum for a few weeks, but this is my first post. Did I play this far too aggressive?

I would have played it the same. The possibility of a flush being hit is somewhat unlikely, and turn/river play should have seen somebody take control. You've got a somewhat strong flush draw with the 4-flush and an overpair. You've got a 4% chance any specific player hit their flush, and about a 1/5 chance any specific player is drawing to the same flush draw you are. I wasn't thinking about the connectedness, so maybe that changes things.

Thanks for the support. I think my play was fairly obvious too.
As it turned out, however both players had me beat the whole way with QQ and 57.

Well, I still think I played it right...

Their weak play preflop with the QQ and the straight hit afterwards saved you bets, can't worry about stuff like that.
