Default HELP with pokertracker and playerview!!!

OK,

here's the deal. i suck at computers and can never make them do what i want b/c i never learned how.

with that confession out of the way, i would like to know why databases IM'd over AIM can be used by playerview??

i have them in a folder and told playerview to add them but then i always get a message about PV "not being able to open one of the databases." but i get the message twice every time i open it. they both have the suffix .mdb as does my pokertracker database....but they don't work...

also, i have only VPIP% for playerview visible and choosing layout manager doesn't work like i use it apparantly...i use a dropdown list but it only lets you use one thing at a time and also the range of data color thing is probably less complex and unusable as it looks to me..a poster sent me a screenshot but i can't get my screen to look like his...

any ideas?

thanks A LOT!!

-Barron

EDIT: also, how can i filter player info in player view to show info for the just the # of players at the table currently?

try putting the databases in your PT directory and giving them names in PT and all (through your PT interface obviously). i also have found that i need to open the databases in PT to get playerview to use them.
