Default Stupid question from Noob: What is TAG?

Please, what is TAG? This should be in the abbreviations area, as it seems to the most used abbreviation. Tight-Aggressive? That doesn't fit with some posts I've seen. LAG =? Loose-Aggressive? Please also tell me what LAG stands for.

Thanks in advance,

Jim

It's originally from The Psychology of Poker, and when that book was written, stood for Tight Aggressive Game. A tight-aggressive player was called a "TAP."

Somehow, it morphed into Tight AGgressive.
