Default Couple hands from home game tourney.

First hand
----------
Starting stacks t3500.
Down to 4 from 12.
Button is absolute maniac who has the entire table covered with about t20000+.
SB is weak-loose who will chase gutshots with no regards to odds, etc.
UTG is weak-tight.
Blinds are t200/t400
Hero is BB with J9o.
UTG calls t400.
Button raises t400.
SB folds.
BB calls t400.
UTG calls t400.

Flop: 2 - 8 - T rainbow
BB checks. UTG checks. Maniac looks down at UTG and asks how much money she has (he did this almost every hand he was in) and puts her all in for t4700. Hero raises all-in for about t2000 more. UTG folds.

Second hand
-----------
Early in the tournament, same group of people.
UTG is typical LAG. Will raise UTG with K5s, will chase runner, runner, etc. Despite this, he is a winning player (in the short run I have played with him, and also claims to be successful online, saying he won his poker table in a mtt).
Blinds are t25/t50.
Hero is BB with A7o.
UTG raises t200.
Folded to SB. SB calls t225.
BB calls t200.

Flop: 9 - A - 7 rainbow
SB bets t400.
BB calls t400.
UTG raises t400.
SB calls t400.
BB raises t1000.
UTG re-raises t1000.
SB folds.
BB raises all-in t100.
UTG calls.

Hand 1
I don't think I like it. The preflop call is iffy considering your description of the table's LAG makes it seem like you'll definitely have to pay big to draw. I hate your re-raise all in. You have no folding equity, are behind a T, and are likely a coinflip at best. Given your decsriptions, I am positive you can find a better spot to get your money in against these clowns.

Hand two I think you played well, though I'd sometimes fold preflop once the SB calls, depending on everyone's else's stacks. I like your flop raise and would be very surprised if your hand wasn't good here.

Thanks for your comments.
Hand 1 I was in another zone. LAGs huge chip lead took a toll on my brain, and I was either going to double up and have some ammo to shoot, or go out blazing. So yes, stupid raise by me looking back at it.

By the way here are the results for the first hand.
Turn: Ace
River: Jack
Hero has J9o (pair of Jacks)
Villain has A9o (pair of Aces)

Worst part was he slowrolled the ace when I showed mine after being all in on the flop, total douchebag.

Second hand
Turn: 3
River: Jack
Hero has A7o (two pair, aces and sevens)
LAG has 99 (three of a kind, nines) Exactly what I thought he had as he reraised me that 1000, don't you love throwing money away?

I thought both plays were pretty bad.

1st hand - the call PF was questionable, but the check on the flop is was worse. The check raise is just awful. Why would you check raise a draw with no folding equity? I would've have bet on the flop with the hope to take it down right there.

2nd hand - nothing wrong with your post flop plays BUT A7 is an easy fold PF in the position. You are faced with a 5x bb raise from UTG, how can you call with A7?

Sorry for sounding harsh.

Hey, I needed to hear that. Thanks. Normally my play isn't this horrible, but for some reason I loosened up waaay too much at this game.
