Party Mod Request , 4-Color Deck Change...
Well, a "request" may sound a bit harsh, but english is nott my mather tang.
Anyway, anyone else would like a better color for clubs in the 4-color deck? When the board comes very black (clubs and spades) I have to look too carefully to not mix the green clubs with the black spades. What color would be better suited for clubs? A lighter green? I'm color illiterate, so I don't know for sure... If I'm not the only one, perhaps some helpful mod artist out there could spice the clubs up a bit? Adde |

Re: Party Mod Request , 4-Color Deck Change...
Am I like the only person who doesn't use 4-colored decks? I tried it once and had a more difficult time with the black and green, as Adde points out. Haven't really had any problems with spades vs. clubs (though I also haven't ever tried any of the 24-hour marathon sessions).
As a thought, would a "neon" green be better? Sure seems that it would stand out better than the current shade of green. |

I think a little lighter green would do it. I don't have as much of a problem on Stars as I do Empire and I am sure it's because their green is just a little lighter or a little brighter.

note this is the extent of my photoshopping skillz; just a demonstration perhaps for someone else to tackle this little project. |

I like that, I think I will edit my four color deck.

I agree; a lighter shade of Kelly green or mint green would help.
I adore the 4 color deck and really miss it when I play live. Shauna |

Re: Party Mod Request , 4-Color Deck Change...
I love the 4-color deck. I never even realized how much it helped (or how much it spoiled me) until my first hand at TGC last night. My TGC software screwed up, so I had reinstalled. I had forgotten to turn the 4-color deck back on and immediately misread my very first hand in the BB. Thought I had A9 of diamonds, but the Ace was really a heart. Flop came with 9 high and two diamonds, so I was aggressive with top pair and a nut flush draw. By the time the river came, I finally realized my mistake - fortunately, an ace fell and I won with two pair.
I was thinking maybe a light purple would be decent. |

[/ QUOTE ] Looking good. If someone would tackle this, maybe create a bunch of a template card first, with colors ranging from original dark green to light green, and then have a poll which one is best? Adde |

I'm not sure about light purple VS blue, but I may be wrong, hard to tell without seeing it. Adde |

Good point - I guess it depends how light you go. Maybe a lavenderish color.
Ok...I'll stop before I lose the rest of my masculinity. |
